In our society, based on consumption, we throw away the “left overs”. Every day the garbage containers are filled with unwanted waste. This material has no value for those who put it there. If they take care putting the right material in the right bin it might get recycled but often the value decrease during this process. I am making jewellery using empty plastic packaging. I am learning to appreciate the qualities of the thrown away material in different types of buckets boxes and bottles. Putting my time and handcraft skills into it, my aim is to increase this non-precious material’s price.
